For contractors running field operations, whether a pipeline spread, a housing estate or a single facility, site reporting is not a dashboard problem. It is a data-capture problem, and it starts on a phone in the sun with gloves on. Daily logs arrive days late as paper sheets and WhatsApp photos that get typed up at the weekend, if at all. Spreadsheets can total what was used last month, but nobody can say when the electrodes or cement run out on this site. So the first warning of a missing consumable, an overdue service or a breakdown is an idle crew, found when the work stops rather than before.

SPADE is a site projections platform built by Xerence for contractors who build in the real world. Field adoption is the product: daily logs of work, crew, plant, materials and photos take under five minutes, are pre-filled from the previous day, and work fully offline on mid-range Android phones (iOS supported) with large, glove-friendly targets and a sunlight theme. Records sync exactly once, with no lost logs or duplicates. Materials, progress, cost, equipment and challenges live in one ledger, so every projection is built from the same daily truth and shows its working: run-out dates, finish dates, cost at completion and next service are given as a range with inputs, method and a confidence label, updated on every approved log. Budgets and earned value (PV, EV, AC, CPI, SPI) run in any currency with dated rates. Industry templates cover pipeline (progress by chainage, norms per joint), building (phases, blocks and units) and single facilities, with terminology, custom fields, approval workflows and alert rules configured in the web admin and versioned. Alerts go out by email, WhatsApp, SMS and push, and everything is exportable through a documented REST API. One codebase ships as SPADE Cloud with single sign-on via Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace, or self-hosted with Docker Compose on one container, PostgreSQL 17 and S3-compatible storage.
